Curiously enough, there so no such thing as night and day. It's just our planet turning towards its nearest star and becoming engulfed in its light, and than turning away from it, facing the endless void beyond. Thank God for the atmosphere. And two notes: it's not void, it's full of celestial bodies, energy, and maybe even life! Also, when turning towards the star, it's pretty much the same view (in terms of endlessness of space) as when turning away from it, it's just that the star is so close to us and so powerful in it's light that it just outshines, from our perspective, everything else. But the everything is still there. And we're with it. 2025-09-21
